A Senior Friend

My old friend Bob was 83 when he passed away, I know him for 16 years, he loves movies, collects rare movies, we exchanged VHS and DVD movies, watched movies sometimes, he is single and never married, since I moved away, we stopped communication for couple of years, when I contacted him again couple of months ago, he was sick, he has some other friends, he made two wills in the past, the beneficiary of latest will passed away before him, so there was no beneficiary, because of the pain he was suffering, and he does not like any of his friends too much, he never wanted to make a new will, I thought I like the friendship with him, I didn’t want him to think I want his money, so I never talked with him about his money. after he passed away, and couple of months past, I think I made a mistake, I know he loves animals very much, one of his friends is Doris Day, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Day, Doris Day is one of the most-dedicated advocates of animal welfare. I could have helped Bob to choose a charity organization related to animals to donate his assets after he passed away.

I think most likely men choose the one they love, and women choose to stay with the one who loves them.

One time I went ballroom dancing, I met this woman I danced with before, I have talked with her couple of times, her job is relationship therapist, she had private practice, then working for a big city in bay area, I felt she was not happy for some reasons, so I asked her what happened, you are not happy today, she told me she is having problem with her boyfriend, I was just thinking in my mind, wait a second, aren’t you a licensed relationship therapist, I did not really know what to say to the expert.

Wrong messages from the radio station

I was listening to music from radio FM 94.5, they take phone calls from listeners, callers tell the radio host what is on their mind, and their experience, stories, one caller said when he was sick in hospitol, his girlfriend left him, and went with a doctor, after years went by, she called him, he rejected her, the radio host first agreed with him, and added a comment “hit the road Jack” (Hit the road Jack and don’t you come back no more), I remember the radio host name is Delilah. I think she sent a bad message to listeners. I believe people know love is forgive, not revenge. why not forgive his ex girlfriend, be friends first, time will tell if he can restart the relationship with her or not. she called him again, that means something already, it is worthwhile find out more what that something is.
